I fly from Arizona to California (Home) several times a year, to get my hair done. I’ve been wanting to make my fabulous hair stylist a cake and decided this trip was a good time. My hair stylist is very elegant and I knew I wanted to do a black and white cake, but had trouble coming up with a design. I made the gumpaste flower first and it came out much bigger than I anticipated. It was my first time, making a wired flower. I decided on Quartrefoils and I was so happy with how the cake came out. The cake traveled perfectly, on the plane. Whew! :-)
