When I saw this dress online, I knew I HAD to make it into a cake like the one Mayen of Way Beyond Cakes by Mayen made for her daughter. I purchased the fabulous tutorial and here is the result. Thanks Mayen! I had to cheat a little in a few areas as I was SO short of time. I used a Dolly Varden pan (I think a Wonder Mold pan is the same) instead of carving.
All month Jasmine had been asking…“Mummy…is that Jasin’s cake?” and everytime I had to say, no not this one gorgeous…soon. Well, you should have seen her face when she saw this AND that she had a matching dress! She said “Mummy, Jasin a princess?” naaaaw!! :’)
