This cake was for a couple celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. They were renewing their vows and wanted a ‘proper’ cake to celebrate the occasion.

They asked me to base the design on the dress which was plain white with a lace panel on the back and a cluster of sparkles just under the bust. I therefore used a Zoe Clark pattern on the top and bottom tier which I thought looked like the lace on the dress and incorporated the rose to give it a slightly less modern feel.
