Gluten free chocolate cake with vegan icing. Gumpaste high heel shoe, a size 8, my daughter’s size, added for accent.
This cake turned out to be a royal pain. Made fondant to cover cake, but daughter requested icing as she doesn’t like fondant. Made vegan icing. Pipe the cake. Hour or so later, all the icing fell off the front of the cake!!!!
Got mad, then sad, then made 2nd batch icing using shortening only. Re-piped, took picture. It can fall off now as it is just for a small family party…. I was so finished with this cake…. but lessons learned!!! :o)
