This was for the 18th birthday of my niece just 2 months after her mother died of cancer. The little wristbands on the bedside cabinet are for the cancer research charities the family are raising money for (we had to include her mum somewhere there). It was a huge cake, 18" base, with every bit entirely edible, based entirely on Sophie’s bedroom from photos sent to me by her father. It travelled over 100 miles for her birthday party and arrived intact much to my relief!
