I made this castle cake for a little girl turning 5 who wanted a princess and pirate theme. I was going for a sandcastle look, but my buttercream was a little to dark to match the fondant. I made this cake the same week as the Star Wars cake and it was a good reminder as to why I usually only do one a week, I am just not organised enough! I ended up putting the finishing touches on the cake while my friend waited patiently, lol! TFL!
