Handpainted Eagle on a cookie

When I need some time-out, I love to paint onto biscuits…

I love birds of prey, which is indicative of my life in Africa and many game parks I visited…

this awesome bird is an Eagle Owl and so was inspired to paint this fella onto a cookie in Cocoa butter mixed with edible dusts. It took 1.5 hours to do.

It is not for eating really, but you could… this one is winging its way to a very dear and long-standing friend in South Africa who will appreciate it and display it in her home..she has so many artworks of mine (more than anyone else ) that date all the way back to when we met in 1973.

They do keep as display pieces by the way, if ever you want to give it a go.

Amazing idea n beautiful story!! Your painting is Exquisite!! If I have the chance to visit UK one day I would come knocking at your door for a private lessons whether you like it or not ;) This Eagle Owl looks so real!! Can’t wait to check it out during our visit to Africa in Summer, probably it’s winter there. Xxx

EXQUISITE Calli!!! Amazingly Beautiful!! I love birds of prey too, we had a Harrys Hawk (Parabuteo Unicintus) my huby hunted with her, she was beautiful and very smart.
One day I would love to have one of your biscuits to display at my home too!!! Lol
