This was made for a 70th Birthday for my client’s father who hasn’t been very well & is now in a home. He absolutely loves Elvis & his favourite song is Blue Suede Shoes so hence the colour of the cake. I loved making little sugar Elvis – they had an Elvis impersonator at the party they threw for Geoff in the home & apparently he looked just like my sugar model!

The great thing about this cake is that it has introduced my children to the music of Elvis as they were intrigued as to who this little sugar man was – so I showed them lots of clips on YouTube & they were literally bopping around the house! And so another Elvis generation is born …. the King lives on!! Yaaay! :-)
