This cake was made for a very special family friend celebrating her 100th Birthday.

The photo of it by itself didn’t really show it’s size at all. I meant to weigh it, but I would estimate it at about 15kg at least. It was a really labour of love as all the yarn was hand rolled, with it taking an hour per ball of wool.

It was Loved by the Birthday girl and all the guests at her party. There was a photographer there from our local news paper to report on her 100 years milestone, so it even ended up in the newspaper!
