I wanted to create a Marie Antoinette inspired cake for my new wedding cake collection, but something a little different and not using gold. I kept the palette simple with pastels: vanilla, dusky pink and duck egg blue. There are ruffles, raw silk texture and piped lace, finished off with a very simple sugar bow.
