I made this cake for a Moroccan themed baby shower… but I think it would be a fun cake for almost any other occasion as well! I love the fun, vibrant color palette, and the gold detail. I had so much fun designing and working on this cake, and I love that my client chose a theme/design that didn’t scream “baby shower.” The flowers are gumpaste, fantasy flowers. I embossed the petals (cut with my peony cutters) with a “Moroccan-esque” stamp for some texture. They are dusted with luster dust, and the edges painted with gold dust.
