I was going for a more elegant, grown-up vision of a Cinderella birthday cake. I wanted it to be fitting of a young lady turning 16 and having a “Cinderella’s Ball” themed party.

I had promised a gumpaste “glass” slipper. But I really wanted to try an make one out of sugar… So, I made myself a template and was able to make the shoe out of isomalt. I’m so proud of how it came out! This is the first time I’ve ever used isomalt/sugar decorations!
