It was fun making this cake, based on the original idea by taatjes “Pigs in Mud Bath”.
It’s a double chocolate cake with a ganache/chocolate buttercream filling, then topped with pure ganache for the “mud”… with a little bit of fondant accents. Taz are toys!

Special thanks to all those who responded a couple of weeks ago to my Tasmanian Forum question… We ended using toys so that Taz looks genuine :-))

Goreti, thanks… I tried following the tutorial link that you gave me… it did not look quite as good as the real character and since the birthday is only two, his mom and I decided to put an actual toy so that he knows it is the character and not something that looks like it :-)
