I wanted a different look at fairy life in this cake…so the theme was fairies at home. The mushroom house is vanilla and chocolate swirl pound cake with strawberry frosting. The flower base is chocolate cake with cookie dough filling. The fairies (including the fairy mouse!) and flowers are all gumpaste and their wings are rice paper.
