I made this cake for my mum who celebrated her 60th birthday….she didn’t want anything overtly “60” so I thought a nice elegant cake with some bling may do the trick!! The peony has diamante stamens and the outer petals are edged with silver leaf!
The cake itself was a caramel mud, filled with vanilla imbc and then covered in dark choc ganache.
