I really enjoyed how elegant the shoe turned out on this cake. The day of decorating the actual cake, I had stayed up the whole night before, working on a different cake, went to bed at 6AM and got up at 8AM to deliver the other cake. I got home from the delivery at 11.30 AM and still had to decorate the whole shoe cake! Pick up was due at 3PM. I was falling asleep while decorating, and my assistant kept waking me up. Eventually, I finished the cake off while the client was watching me. I was about 15 minutes overtime!!!
