This was a sewing themed birthday cake that I made for my sister. I couldn’t spend as much time on it as I wanted so it wasn’t ‘finished’ quite as I would have wanted but I loved the board effect and the buttons round the cake. The sewing machine and the dressmaker’s dummy are made out of modelling chocolate, everything else is sugarpaste.
