Had to pull my finger out for this one as I only had a couple of days available to do this. So, I came up with the plan to do a 2D upright bike cake (rather than a sugarpaste model) and build the bike details onto the front of the cake. I decided to make the base cake a worn saddle bag to add some character and interest to the overall theme. This lady asked for a HD theme with logo and understood that time was tight, so although she emailed me a photo of the bike to work from, she didn’t even expect one! She was so thrilled and her husband was totally over the moon. Have had some amazing feedback from them over this which made me feel so much happier about the rush job!!

the logo is sugarpaste. I cut out the outline (made a template from a logo I pulled offine) and painted the lettering freehand (painting is always a dodgy subject for me!).

All edible.
