Not comps or glamour or any of that… It was and is and always will be about plain, simple and fun celebration cakes for poeple to love and enjoy… and a story behind it. If I were an artist I would love to be a book illustrator or a newspaper cartoonist, but this is the next best thing for me! I appreciate your words so much!! thank you xxxx

I have to second that two ladies!! I find the stories behind the cakes so fascinating! Some times the cake is not the most beautiful cake there is but if the story behind it´s interesting or sweet or something else more than that cake is taken to another level. That´s why I love to see, read and comment almost all the cakes in CakesDecor, because they all have a story to tell. That story made them more interesting, for me.

ah thank you for those sweet words ana! Yes, this whole cake from start to finish was created in an afternoon (so is not a masterpiece lol!). I really appreciate your view that cakes with a story also have their value. It doesn’t always have to be arty or perfect to look at. But it must taste good though.. always! :) xxx
