This is my maggie Austin inspired ruffle cake. It is only a little 6 inch cutting cake for another wedding i did on the weekend. I was so worried this cake was just going to melt away in this horrid Aussie heat we have been having and this wedding was outside but the day was just perfect and the bride just loved her cutting cake and the colours i used. I cant tell you how worried i was making this cake and how grateful i am for all the cake decorators that helped me with recipes for buttercream that were heat proof, well nothing is going to stand up to 45degrees in the sun but it was such a help thank you :-)))) x Tina
