this cake is travelling to Manchester tonight with ongoing snow
for Elsie who will be celebrating her 90th birthday tomorrow
top tier is white cake with homemade lemon curd iced with italian meringue buttercream
bottom tier is red velvet cake with chocolate custard filling and iced with white chocolate ganache
both covered with white fondant and brushed with bridal satin powder for pearlized effect
my daughterJorene painted the portrait
decorated with white roses,beaded neacklace with cameo pendant, white ribbon and lace

beautiful painting… wonderful cake and hope it got to Manchester OK… not far from where I live and no additional snow as yet, so the roads should be OK .. :)
