This a diaper bag that client requested – I added a lot of “gold” touches to stay with the JC theme – I even added rhinestones to the baby pacifier.
This was a white cake filled with an almond buttercream frosting and a chocolate ganache crumbcoating.

This is beautiful !!! I will be making a baby cake soon and I wanted to ask u how many layers of cake did u have for this cake?…:
If I recall, I used five 9 × 13 layers – 2" each. It all depends on how tall or large you want the bag to be. Keep in mind that you will lose cake when you start carving the shape of the bag.
I recommend using a cake that is rather firm so it won’t crumble on you. To provide weight stability, I used a cake board wrapped in parchment paper after the third cake. I also doweled the cake and finally, I put a wooden dowel through the middle once I was finished. I was traveling 60 miles to deliver this cake, so I had to make sure it didn’t shift.
