This was an extra special gender reveal cake made for a Christmas surprise. I was given free range of design & concept but only 1 day to execute it and 2 cakes to make (one for each of the parents-to-be families) so it had to be quick and simple. Since it was going to be cut on Christmas Day I wanted to keep it in the Holiday spirit but still cute enough for baby. So I came up with the Doe or Deer concept (I do realize that it should be Doe or Buck, but I like the way Doe or Deer sounds better ;)
