This is a special cake that I made for my fathers 60th birthday. He has a debilitating illness and rarely gets out of the house. It was wonderful to have the family together at my house to share the day with him.
He has always been a lover of frogs and my childhood home was filled with display cabinets full of them. Frog figurines lined every available space, in the house, car, garden etc. He was pleased with his lil froggy until I told him that I made it from fondant and then he was over the moon. He had thought it was a ceramic figure I had bought and was super impressed that I had made it just for him.
