I donated this cake to my sons school Christmas fete last week and thoroughly enjoyed creating it. Both tiers are chocolate mud with a dark chocolate ganache. I wanted to keep the models quite fun and simplistic for the children, a little like the wooden peg dolly decorations you get for your Chrsitmas tree and at the same time still recognisable as a Mr and Mrs Claus. Loved making it, so much fun and my little boy had a whale of a time at the guess the weight competition. He even got to meet Santa in person!!! xxx
