THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

This cake for the Christmas party for the Ladies Group at my church. The theme was Christmas cards and the president of the group asked me make a cake looks like a Christmas card. This is what I came up with. A 9×13 yellow cake done in buttercream. The angel was a plastic figure with gum paste wings, and a sugar paper cutout nativity. Fondant poinsettias.
