My Work for the Tribal culture Around the world collaboration.
Being a sugar florist, I was naturally drawn to these 2 tribes “The Bropka Tribe” located in the Indian Union territory of Ladakh, and the “The Flower men” of Saudi. Their elaborate floral headdresses held my attention the most. Mountains, trees, water and flowers are considered very pure. The flowers are considered auspicious and they also signify love and prosperity in the community.
Here I have presented my interpretation, using sugar flowers made with gumpaste, inspired from the headdresses of both the communities.
