I wanted to make a personalized cake for my 60th bday, and I searched for inspiration in the folk costume of my hometown Sinj and Cetina region. This cake is decorated with motifs of the ethno bag Zobnica. Zobnica is small woolen bag (embroidered wool on jute) and it is used for feeding a horse with grains. The bag with grains is placed around a horse’s muzzle and over its head. In my early youth we made these bags for ourselves as folk fashion accessory.
Well, I had a real ethno bag a long time ago and today it is ethno cake 😊
