Here I present my contribution towards a international cake collaboration titled “ Art of Pottery " hosted by Cake artist Tasnuta Alam.

My creation is inspired by the “Traditional Rickshaw Painting Art of Pottery” which is very
popular in different Bangladeshi fair that takes place during the occasion of Pahela Baishakh,
Poush Mela, etc. The rickshaw painting art is a form of neo-romanticism which cover a variety of movements in philosophy, literature, music, painting, architecture, social movements, incorporate elements from the era of romanticism and popular in subcontinent. This rickshaw
painting on pottery usually consists of various landscape, portraits and different statements. I have specifically intended to replicate some elements of rickshaw painting art of pottery and vibrant color combination of it via my cake piece. I hope you all like it.
