This is my birthday cake. My bday is on Canada 🇨🇦 Day. Sadly, no dinner out or enjoying Canada Day celebrations, including fireworks 💥 for my bday this year. Darn you Covid-19!!! Oh well, I’ll enjoy time with my family. And I’m blessed to be able to celebrate and glad myself and my family are healthy.
Top tier is a dummy where I did royal icing palette painting. Watched several videos, and it ain’t as easy as it looks!! I kinda followed some of the techniques, and did then did my own thing. A daffodil, hydrangea, fantasy flower and dandelion. Made a white ribbon rose for the cake top and sprayed it red with edible food colouring. Bottom tier is real cake with fondant tulip and buttercream grass.
