Couture Cakers International, organized by @Sweet Dreams by Heba, is an annual collaboration, which aims to make a cake inspired by a haute couture dress. This year, the theme was Islamic wedding dresses with hijab. This beautiful wedding cake, in turquoise and teal tones, was my creation for this project.

My inspiration was this magnificent dress. I was enchanted by its colors and textures! The photo was found on the net and all the credits go to the respective designer, model and photographer, which unfortunately I couldn’t identify. I used home made sugar lace in diferent shades and Diamond Gel for the crystals.
