I found a picture on Pinterest a year ago and have been sitting on it because
I have wanted to cookie it and finally tried. I couldn’t find the artist and hope he likes my interpretation of his work.
I discovered the marvelous Art Biscotti also created a cookie using this painting a while back, and I asked her permission to cookie it but we obviously have very different techniques and of course she didn’t mind.
This Santa is a 15cm royal icing transfer , hand painted over colored icing glued to a sugar cookie with crackle effect.
