I would like to share with you my contribution to the “Avantgarde Cakes Next Generation challenge directed by Carolina Wachter hosted by Bakerswood. I chose, for my inspiration, the Avantgarde paper dress. I really loved the single colour palette and it’s clean lines which I felt was every bit as effective as the more detailed pieces normally seen on the catwalk.
The bottom tier is inspired by the detail on the bottom of the dress.
The 3rd tier is inspired on the main design of the skirt.
The 2nd tier is inspired on the circle design behind the models head.
The 4th tier is inspired on the bodice of the dress and
The wafer tier is inspired by the circle piece by the models right hand.
