Every June, I make a cake trying out something I’ve wanted to do for my neighbour’s birthday. This year I came up with this potted orchid – my first time making these beautiful flowers and first time doing a crackle glaze.
The cake inside was rich chocolate and amaretto, with chocolate and amaretto buttercream and ganache.
