This is my first time participating in the collaboration of the Bulgarian cake artists “My Bulgaria – Ancient and Young”.
For this project I have been inspired by one of our national treasures, which enjoys the beauty and aroma – the oil-bearing Bulgarian rose. I presented a tradition ritual for picking roses, which is solemnly held for the tourists and guests of the town of Kazanlak, during the Rose Festival.

The cookie is hand-painted with royal icings and hand-painted. Roses are hand-modeled by a fondant.
