This one was a tough one. My niece asked me las week on Thursday night if I could make the cake. The following morning when my mother-in-law did not come down for breakfast, I went to check on her. Unfortunately she had passed away. I did not want to let my niece down. Luckily I saw the cutest baby llama ca by Sugar High and at least I had an idea for the topper. The rest kind of came together as I was decorating it. Pretty happy with how it turned out. I am exhausted and in a bit of pain because I had to do everything at the last minute. Bottom cake is chocolate velvet cake, filled with cheesecake filling and chocolate orange ganache, covered in chocolate buttercream, top is vanilla cake, filled with cheesecake and caramelized oecans, frosted in pecan SMBC both covered in homemade marshmallow fondant.
