This Egyptian Cobra was made for a collaboration by a group of Welsh cake artists and was displayed at the Welsh National Cake Show recently.

The Cobra was modelled over a copper pipe framework using Saracino modelling paste and then airbrushed with Kroma airbrush colours. The urn was hand carved from a polystyrene block and covered in Massa Ticino sugarpaste before being airbrushed with Kroma colour. The whole piece stood at 36 inches tall.
