A huge thanks to Tina and her team for making this another successful annual collab or which I’m happy and honored to be a member for the second year. I took inspiration from the Gujarati style saree and especially the Choli (the blouse worn under the saree baring the midriff) which is usually embellished with bright colors. For my Gujarati Choli cake, I used Satin Ice fondant to create a geometric pattern and just as flowers compliment any hairstyle worn with a saree, I made some huge flowers and foliage using wafer paper. Airbrush colors by AmeriColor tinted the flowers and I love how it all turned out and I hope that you do too.
