Honrada y feliz de ser parte de este importante reto de azúcar: “Botero Challenge” de BAKERSWOOD ❤️

Desde que le conocí siempre admiré la obra de este gran artista y su particular punto de vista. Al estar viendo su obra me topé con una inusual: “El Árbol Muerto” y de inmediato quedé enganchada. Resulta que de niña dibujaba muchos árboles en este estilo, pero me enfocaba más en sus entrincadas ramas. Ha sido un verdadero honor darle “vida” a este árbol y obra del inigualable Fernando Botero. Las aves se cambiaron un poco de lugar pues como contraste, ellas están llenas de vida. ¡Sigo maravillada con la profunidad y simplicidad de esta obra! Espero sea de su agrado ❤️

Ever since I knew him I admired the work and unique point of view of this great artist. As I was viewing his work I came across an unusual piece: “The Dead Tree” and I was caught immediately. It turns out that as a child I used to draw many trees in this style but focusing more on the intricacy of their branches. It has been a real honor to give “life” to this tree and unmatchable work of the incomparable Fernando Botero. The birds moved a bit from their place because as a contrast, they are full of life. I am still wondered by the profoundness and simplicity of this piece! I hope it is of your liking ❤️
