This is my fall fashion inspired cake for the Sept 2018 issue of Americans cake Decorating Magazine. Inspired by the 2018 fall fashion designs of J. Mendel. I used Fondant, wafer paper, cake lace and sugar pearls to mimic the fabric effects of the fashion design. I also used the drageekiss to apply sugar pearls to the design.
