Five years ago, when I left corporate job to follow my dreams, little did I know that this would be the turning point of my life and mastering sugar art would become an all time consuming passion. Soon, my baby Seema’s Cake Couture was born and since then, there has been no looking back. I have been featured in Cake Masters, India and on the cover of Sugar magazine. Many of my cakes have made it to the ‘Daily Top 3’ on Cakes Decor. I have also worked alongside many international cake artists on a variety of cake collaborations worldwide. Whether it is cake sculpting, figure modeling or sugar flowers, I play with different techniques and custom art cakes are my forte. I do what I love and I love what I do.

Marilyn Monroe: The name alone evokes timeless beauty. She not only captured the hearts of the world in the mid-20th century but became an icon of femininity and sensuality. Her style and grace have inspired people for generations.
But despite her fame, Monroe was a deeply unhappy woman. Her troubled childhood and a series of unsuccessful marriages contributed to the decline of her mental health. Through it all, she put on a happy face for her fans, making millions fall in love. She was adored by many, but did anyone really know her? Her death, ruled a suicide, revealed to the public just how alone she truly felt.
Perhaps tales that her death was anything but a suicide have persisted so long because we simply do not want to believe that someone as beautiful and radiant as Monroe could take her own life. She was a woman who seemingly had everything in the world to live for. But these things are not always enough. Anyone can experience Depression, no matter how perfect their life may seem. The story of Monroe is not just a tragic one, but one that reminds that things are not always as they appear to be.
