This was a completely different take on a wedding cake and I loved it!
Double barrelled lemon and elderflower sponge (with homemade elderflower cordial) drizzled with an elderflower syrup, lemon curd and elderflower buttercream.
The cake was covered with a turquoise elderflower buttercream and finished with a white chocolate drip which I painted gold. The fruit and flowers were provided and I decorated the cake with them.
The whole wedding was a festival theme and the cake took centre stage with an amazing sword to cut it! ☺️
