Cream Tart Cake

Cream Tart Cake

An L shaped cake for my friend Lilian’s birthday. 2 layers of sponge cake brushed with strained apricot jam and filled with sliced strawberries and whipped Pastry Pride (stabilized whipped cream) The flowers are inserted into tea straws so not in contact with cake. French Macarons filled with almond flavored buttercream.

Thank you, home from a lovely lunch and the cake went over well. I think it looked better with a few sliced berries on top.
