Rustic birch tree wedding cake.

I really enjoyed making this as I had free reign on the design with just a few requests from the bride.

Bottom tier was chocolate sponge with an orange syrup and chocolate orange ganache, middle tier was vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and jam and the top tier was a Luscious lemon sponge with a lemon syrup, curd and buttercream.

The different colour butterflies each represent something special to the couple, including the discrete Wonder Woman one (which was extra special for the bride) and I added their initials to their bespoke design.
Handmade cream sugar peonies, roses and filler flowers with some green leaves and details finish this rustic look beautifully I think ☺️
