This design is basically an ode to evolution of human relationship. It starts with bass relief technique for flowers leaves and butterfly indicating the undying compassion of Mother Earth and finally culminates to lotus petals and open rose at the top implying the evolution of human life.
Techniques used:
Base tier comprises bass relief work in black brushed with a touch of gold.
2nd tier is made by two tone fondant circles folded in shape of triangle and arranged in such a way to give the look of flowers. Next to it is a tier adorned with golden sequins work. 4th tier is designed with tree bark effect with a gold heart enclosed in a rope. In the 5th tier it is handcrafted with gumpaste petals to give a look of bloomed lotus. 6th tier is again with golden sequence work to give a symmetrical look to the cake. The top tier is embraced with stencil work with royal icing and hand painted with golden dust. And last but not the least a gumpaste open rose to complete the look of Mother Nature…
