Theme : modern wedding cake

“Mexican Fiesta”

This cake is inspired from the bold and colorful theme of a mexican fiesta. It is youthful, vibrant yet with a touch of elegance.

The top tier is a modern concrete texture, made to match the rustic succulent flower on the top. Some ranunculus and carnations in bright colors are added to provide a sharp contrast – something typical of fiestas.

The middle tier is a hand-painted mexican folk art design, which is usually embroidered on their traditional dresses – occasionaly brides have it embroidered on their wedding dresses as well.

Bottom tier is an elegant rouched fabric effect – to symbolize the white elegance a bridal dress often carries.
