One of my 5 entries into the Irish Sugarcraft Show. The cake topper class had a theme of Carnival, which I loved, adn this is the shoe I made.
I have competeted for years, as long as I can remember, and have dreamed of a BSG Gold, kept coming close, but never quite got there, until I made this shoe. The judges said it was a pleasure to judge and low and behold I won my first BSG Gold medal with it.
I displayed it on a turntable disguised with popcorn, as to show it one way or another you would have missed parts of it.
The support and kindness I recieved form my fellow cakers and sugar artists has humbled me so much.
I dreamed up the idea of the treaats you would have at the carnival, and this is my vision.
