I was asked to create a Halloween cake for an advert over the weekend and this is what I came up with.
I always have to have a story to go with my cakes and this is how the story goes…..

The witch had been asked to the Annual Halloween singles party, but as usual she was really late.
She’d lost the keys to her broom stick, (they were in the fridge).
She was a witch of a certain age, and was starting to become forgetful , (and the endless hot flushes didn’t help either!!)
Anyway… she finally found her keys, but by then she was too late to get a bottle of wine from the off licence so she sped off looking for something else to take to the party.
She had a terrible sense of direction and was always getting horribly lost, so it wasn’t long before she hadn’t got a clue where she was.
Then she spied a field full of pumpkins, so she swooped down and landed in the middle of the pumpkin patch.
She picked a reasonable sized pumpkin to take to the party and climed up on top of the biggest, most enormous pumpkin you ever saw to give herself a few minuites to cool down, (another hot flush!).
Then she realised she could hear a beating noise in the distance, and peering far ahead she could see the lights of the disco pulsating with the sound of the beat.
Party!!……. she shouted, and kick starting her broomstick she was gone in a puff of smoke and the flash of an eye>>>>>>>.
There’s life in the old witch yet!!
