A very late posting of my contribution to the Amore – A Heart for Children Collaboration to bring awareness to childhood cancer. A very big thank you to Khamphet and Natalie for running this collab – they are angels.

My piece is about hope. The watercolour painting of a hummingbird is a message of hope, love and optimism. I’ve always been fascinated by hummingbirds which are – like children – small in size and capable of amazing feats. The daffodil is often used as a cancer symbol for hope in the fight against this awful disease.

This collaboration was very close to my heart
