The state I chose is Goa 🏄🏊🎣🍻
Famous for its tranquil laid back culture – “sussegad”- which means – “quiet”, people flock to Goa to enjoy the beauty of its beaches, the authentic Goan cuisine and it’s historical churches.
My relation with Goa began 25 yrs ago when I  married a Goan boy. In these years I have come to love Goa and the Goans . Goa for me means huge family get togethers , weddings , celebrations, religious functions  and ofcourse impromptu days out at one of Goa’s many beautiful beaches.
Any day would be a good day to pack a picnic basket and set off for the beach .
I have chosen to depict this spirit in my creation consisting of a bottle of the famous traditional Goan Coconut Feni – an alcoholic drink which has many medicinal benefits , Fried Mackerels and the famous Goan Pork Sausages .
Techniques used : Carving , free hand painting and modelling.
